As of yet, I cannot get my badge to work but I am glad I was finally successful in getting the Doppler to display. I will keep on trying to post a badge.

Number 23 - My Thoughts On The 23 Things
I enjoyed the challenge. Some tasks were a bit more difficult than others but perseverance pays off. Some exercises still need to be practiced often so as not to forget how to do them.
I enjoyed working on my Flickr account, playing with the gadgets and YouTube. Sadly, the video I selected to post had a "Embedding disabled by request" tag to it. Might go back and replace it at a later date. I am also grateful that so many links were provided with each task. Those links did provide a lot of help and guidance in completing the task. Should another program such as this become available in the future, I most definitely will try to accomplish that too.
My thanks to Valerie Cruz who came over and guided Pat and me through the beginning. Many thanks to Pat Rodriguez who was there for us to practice the exercises together and to coach each other along the way. And a special thanks to DiDi Morganti who encouraged me to go on and complete My 23 Things. Never did I think I would blog. Now, I can hardly wait to let others view my blog. I just want to add a bit more. I also need to get into the practice of adding comments to other's blogs as well as mine.

Number 2 - 7 1/2 Habits of Highly Successful Lifelong Learners
After viewing the tutorial on 7 1/2 Habits, I feel the hardest for me is number
4, "Have confidence in yourself as a competent effective learner". I have a difficult time in having confidence in myself. The easist was number 3 - Viewing problems as challenges. With the help of my mentors, it was easier to see the tasks as a challenge. The more I tried to do the task, it became fun as I was learning and the results were good. I am still having a problem getting a badge posted and my doppler to show correctly without having to click on it. This is a challenge I will contiue to work on in the future.

For number 5 - I created a Flickr account which allowed me to set up my slide show of my granddaughter, my husband, and me with Mr. Tony Curtis at the MGM in Las Vegas.

Downloaded Overdrive Software but my computer is not compatible to download the books. Need to try to increase something on my computer to download the three books I have checked out.

This is a place where everyone visits to add or take-away from a project instead of having the project go to everyone via e-mail. Very interesting.

Tried to create an account after reading 16 to play but Database was locked in Sandbox Wiki. The administrator who locked it offered explantion 1. Tried to play and edit in two different places offered but ended up with the same result and explanation.

Working at my 23 things
Today I caught up with numbers 5, 8 & 9. While doing number 9, visited sapl.chchat.blogspot.com but did not add to my blog but did add bloglines.com. I really do hope I can accomplish this task. It is beginning to be fun.
